Tap, pinch, and flick through your photos.
You can view and touch your photos on ipad in intuitive new ways because of the built-in Photos app on iPad. Your photo albums appear as tidy little stacks you can pinch to preview on ipad. Tap a stack, and the whole album opens up. From there you can scroll through thumbnails on ipad. Tap to view full screen. Or flip through photos one at a time.
Picture perfect.
The gorgeous 9.7-inch iPad display shows off your photos in vivid color with excellent brightness and contrast. It uses a premium technology called IPS (in-plane switching) to provide an extremely wide viewing angle on ipad, so friends and family can crowd around your iPad and still get a great view.
Truly moving pictures.
Your picture rotates following iPad screen, so you can show it off any way you want. Flip iPad over to share a snapshot with the person across from you, then flip it back to share with someone sitting next to you. You can even create and play your own slideshows, complete with music and animated transitions. Place iPad in the optional iPad Dock, turn it on, and enjoy the spectacle from across the room. When you want to share photos from afar, email them or publish them to the web using MobileMe with just a tap or two.*
Never forget a face (or a place).
iPad works seamlessly with Faces and Places in iPhoto for the Mac, so you can view your photos not only by date and event but also by who's in them and where they were taken. Want to view all the photos of your daughter on ipad? Tap her picture in Faces view and open an entire album full of photos of her on ipad. To see all the photos you snapped in London, tap the Places button and tap London. Your stack of photos appears above the London pin, and you can pinch or tap to view them on ipad. You can even focus in on specific locations like Trafalgar Square or Big Ben.
Get your photos to iPad in a flash.
There are lots of ways to get your photos into your iPad, for example iTunes. You can import photos directly from your camera or its SD card using the optional iPad Camera Connection Kit. And you can save photos from email to your iPad photo library.
