Remaining to test: iPod 4G & iPhone 4 CDMA running 5.0.1.

Also, I've tested iPad 1 and it worked.

Now the time to finalize the jailbreak for old devices, fix some stability issues and package the whole.That will take some days.

In the meanwhile, I'm starting the research for iPad 2 and 4S. I'll take you informed of my progress.

Recently we told you that Pod2g, the iOS jailbreak hacker that has been working on a untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.0.1 has completed his jailbreak code. It was an amazing announcement for the jailbreak community.However this untethered jailbreak is only for devices running on the A4 chip, not support iPhone 4s A5 chip.

We are now happy to tell you that the code has now been successfully tested on the iPad 2 and the iPhone 3G. The only thing that is left to be done is that some finalization of the jailbreak need to be done on the old devices. Also there has been some stability issues and packaging for the solution, and then a release will be on its way.

Pod2g - iOS jailbreak hacker did not give any updates earlier of jailbreaks for the iPhone 4S and the iPad 2, he has not reported the jailbreak for the mentioned devices has indeed started and on its way. If had decided that you can not wait any longer for a release and thought of being a beta tester for Pod2g's jailbreak solution, there is some bad news for you. We have just found out that Pod2g will not be releasing his solution for beta testing, this decision was based on fears from him that his solution will be leaked, and all his hard work will be for nothing.
